Course Overview
When we are not getting the results we want out of others, most of us experience a tension between accepting these others as they are and trying to change them. Both wisdom and experience teach us that you cannot change others. Yet, people change. This course looks at the dynamics, which create, nurture, and facilitate change. It explores the choices we all have in creating positive change in both our professional and personal worlds.

Objectives/Topics
As a result of taking this course, you will learn to:

  • Understand the dynamics that encourage change

  • Facilitate change without using manipulation or intimidation

  • Develop strategies for accepting and living with situations that you cannot change

  • Practice the habit of being proactive and building future hope and perspective
