Leadership Development Programs
Wronski Associates is a leader in the design, development, and delivery of corporate leadership programs, from new-hires through high-potential experienced candidates. Leadership Development is the training that gets our company truly excited and where our instructors and coaches feel they can make the greatest impact. These leadership programs, whether they are geared toward IT, Finance, Operations, Quality, Engineering, or other functional areas are the programs that help secure top companies’ succession pipelines.
"Learning is a process not an event."
-- Elliott Masie, The MASIE Center
Wronski Associates has experience delivering development programs around the globe. We can fill a gap in a pre-existing or a newly conceived program or provide end-to-end support including:
- Initial gap analysis
- Recruiting program design
- Talent management consulting
- Rotational assignment or stretch assignment planning
- Program development and ongoing administration
- Program delivery
- Coaching
- Measurement and metrics
All of our leadership programs are custom-developed for our clients. The mission statement, learning objectives, and topics are all derived from the competencies needed to be effective in a given function within an organization.
Each program is a blend of training events, rotational or stretch assignments, experiential learning opportunities, coaching, and mentoring. Each piece of the program is a building block that reinforces earlier components and serves as a foundation for the next component creating a single, yet multi-faceted, integrated development process.
The training curriculum may utilize action learning, simulations, and case studies that are specific to the client. We have developed case studies based on real situations within the organization, as well as fabricated case studies that address issues that a client perceives it may encounter in the future. These case studies challenge participants on both a personal and team level. They are practical and business focused. For example, an IT program will require students to solve business problems utilizing technology. Students not only learn technical skills (IT, Engineering, Quality, etc.) but also develop interpersonal, project management, and professional development skills throughout the program.
Our leadership program experiences have proven again and again that six factors are required to create exceptional training solutions for our customers, they are:
- Motivated participants.
- Dedicated instructors and coaches.
- A consistent set of training topics that address the desired skill sets of the business. These topics need to be mapped to the competencies desired by the client.
- The inclusion of the technologies and functional skills that are shaping the way the organization does business.
- Real-world business issues featured through an integrated case study approach.
- Management involvement in the training process.
These are the approaches we take in each and every leadership program we have developed. We consider them the keys to our success.
“It is not as expensive to train an employee who then leaves, as it is to not train an employee and they stay.”

Building a succession pipeline of leaders takes commitment. It is not surprising to us that companies for which we have built numerous leadership programs and to whom we have been training partners for many years, are year after year rated among the top companies for creating leaders by organizations including the Hay Group, Chief Executive magazine, Hewitt Associates LLC, Fortune magazine, and others.
“In a time of drastic change, it is the learners who inherit the future. The learned find themselves equipped to live in a world that no longer exists.”
-- Eric Hoffler, Vanguard Management, 1989
At Wronski Associates, we constantly look for and evaluate opportunities, challenges, best practices, and the changing landscape of how businesses succeed in the global economy in order to anticipate what kind of leaders our clients will need in the future. Wronski Associates is one of only 400 members of the Chief Executives Club of Boston. In 2006, the Chief Executives Club of Boston was named the nation's #1 CEO speaking forum for the third consecutive time by the Best Practices in Corporate Communication (BPCC) group of Washington, DC. The club was challenged for this honor by 1600 other business venues. In January 2008, in a report published by Weber Shandwick, the club was named the number two-ranked CEO event in the world (listed behind only the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland) among business groups that build thought leadership, executive visibility, and reputation enhancement in a world-wide venue.
