Course Overview
This course explores organizational change, the individual human journey through change, and the characteristics of resiliency required for successfully navigating a rapidly changing world. Joseph Campbell’s Hero’s Journey model sets a framework for understanding the transitional and transformative process we undergo as we move through a change experience. Successful navigation through the Hero’s Journey relies on our ability to focus and maximize individual resiliency. This course highlights elements of resiliency including: attitude, vision, creativity, imposing order upon chaos, and proactive choice-making. Strategies for tapping these abilities within ourselves, nurturing them in others, and maximizing them organizationally for effective change leadership will be explored.
