Course Overview
Projects are accomplished by people. However, often the project manager is not the direct supervisor of the project team members. This can create a difficult leadership situation. Good project leaders have a common set of characteristics they rely on. This course will address how to manage the project within a variety of organizational structures. Team formation and team dynamics will be discussed. Techniques for communicating with the team and conflict resolution will be introduced. The principles of situational leadership will also be discussed and practiced.
