Oracle9i Differences for Developers

Recommended Duration:  1-3 days

Intended Audience
Experienced application developers and designers who will be using Oracle8i or Oracle9i.

Course Overview
Students familiar with earlier versions of Oracle's RDBMS are introduced to Oracle9i and its features.  Object Features normally comprise most of the third day, they can be expanded upon or deleted as requested.  Course may include Oracle8i issues too.  There are thirteen regular hands-on computer exercises and several optional exercises.

Objectives
Participants will be introduced to the new and improved features of Oracle9i that concern Application Developers.  Several exercises involve practice using new items discussed in the class.
