Intended Audience
Application programmers, data base administrators, system administrators, and systems programmers who will be involved in migrating, developing, maintaining, or enhancing systems that will operate under DB2 Version 7.

Course Overview
This course presents what is new and different in Version 7 of DB2.  Included are such topics as: the advent and impact of Unicode, new and changed SQL statements, z/OS impacts, operational enhancements, utilities enhancements, changes in Java support, and much more.

Objectives
The student will learn what has changed in DB2 Version 7, what has been added in this release, and how the changes affect the activities that are associated with DB2.

Prerequisites
The student should be knowledgeable of the features of the DB2 Data Base Management System that are relevant for his / her job responsibilities.
