Technical personnel who need to work with DB2 data bases from a DB2I perspective.
Course Overview
This course presents the fundamentals of SQL access to DB2 tables from within the SPUFI environment. The course is intended for programmers, and includes both data access and data modification SQL statements. A discussion of data definition and the DB2 catalog is also included.
Objectives
Students who complete this course will be able to code SQL statements to access and update DB2 objects. S/he will also learn the SQL for object definition, object maintenance, and object deletion.
Prerequisites: Experience using ISPF/PDF.
