Intended Audience
Application programmers who need to work with DB2 data using QMF, and who need to develop applications that incorporate QMF functions.
Course Overview
This course presents the fundamentals of SQL access to DB2 tables from within the QMF environment. The course is intended for programmers, and includes both data access and data modification SQL statements. In addition, the facilities of QMF for report formatting, and for procedural programming are discussed.
Objectives
Students who complete this course will be able to code SQL statements to access DB2 objects using QMF. The student also learns how to use QMF forms to tailor the presentation of results from QMF queries.
Prerequisites: Experience using ISPF/PDF.
