Course Overview
Many installations skipped DB2 Version 6 and went (or are going) right from Version 5 to Version 7; this course provides a fast track update to the essential changes introduced in this transition, from the perspective of DB2 application developers.

Objectives
The student will learn what has changed in DB2 Versions 6 and 7, what has been added in these releases, and how the changes affect the activities that are associated with DB2.

Prerequisites
The student should be knowledgeable of the features of the DB2 Data Base Management System that are relevant for application development.
